Vuolle Settlement cancels most of its operations for the spring term

In order to prevent the outbreak of coronavirus infections, Vuolle Settlement has decided to cancel a large part of its spring operations. All adult education centre courses (including personal education) during the spring term are suspended and canceled. The situation of upcoming summer courses will be decided and announced later. We will inform our clients about the course fee policy as soon as possible.

In the case of Digital and Basic Skills projects, group activities will be suspended until further notice.

The Welfare Services´ (Tyttöjen Talo, Poikien Talo, multicultural work, senior work and volunteering) group activities and all events have been canceled for the time being. Individual work has been suspended for those at risk (senior work). For other welfare services, individual work will continue with discretion. Throughout our operations, we strive to find ways to serve our customers electrically.

For the time being, the operations of the Folk High School will continue in order to ensure the progress of degree-related studies and the continuity of study-related social benefits of the students. However, due to the safety of our students and teachers, the classes will now be held virtually.

We have urged our staff to monitor their own health and stay out of work at a low threshold. We will follow the guidelines and recommendations of the authorities with particular care and will notify you of any changes on our website.
